Starting Waifit plan today Wednesday 1/13/10
Off from work today
9:30 am Breakfast: Had a chocolate shake, 2% milk with frozen blueberries in blender. Good stuff.
Took 2 cleanse capsules & 3 Burn capsules
11 am: hungry, had 4 deli ham slices.
12:30 Lunch: Had 2 small flounder fillets & a Made them for dinner & have to try them. Just a habit. So made that my lunch for today.
4:30 fiber mixed with water. Good lemon flavor. Had 3rd cleanse capsule.
** forgot to take the next 3 Burn capsules. Can't take after 2 pm. So will remember tomorrow.
**forgot to weigh myself also. Will do that now.
5:30 Dinner, had some Butternut squash & Flounder
Tomorrow is work & will have a shake for breakfast & capsules & will have my lean cuisine for lunch. Will also ride bike for 15 minutes after work 3 days/week. Good luck to me. Will blog every night about my day with Waifit. If Julie Powell could blog her way through a cookbook, I can do this.
Will let Lisa know about blog so that she can read this & see if I am doing it right!

Snack Tips: The ham was ok but it was to easy just to reach in the fridge and grab it, what if there had been leftover pizza? Plan your snacks as well as your meals.
I like crunchy so a day off snack could be 2 pieces of Wasa crisp bread with Laughing Cow cheese, sliced tomato, cucumber and onion.

ReplyDeleteHey Lisa great day. I did not see you taking the second set of burn capsules. I only managed to take the three in the morning as well.
Personally I prefer eating things where I can pronounce all the ingredients. I don't think the slim fast bar is bad but here is an easy idea:
Snack tip 2.
prepare the night before that it is easy to grab and run.
2 stalks celery filled with either 1 Tablespoon peanut butter ( Skippy natural is great Peanuts, salt and oil)or laughing cow cheese. Handful of raisins and 8 almonds.
EDN, I found people either love it or hate it, I am in the first category!
Dinner was great but until you have time to cook up some rice or a whole grain to have on hand, try a slice of sprouted grain bread with dinner. "Good" Carbs are important.
If you are not feeling hungry then your plan is perfect for you! Keep some fresh fruit handy for an after dinner snack.
You also could make a second shake at night and have before dinner if you start to feel hungry.
Where is the exercise? Did you get to walk or bike today?
Thanks Lisa. I have not been hungry, so have not had too many snacks. I just found out I will be working 6 days a week for the month of February. yuck. I will ride the bike at work every day. either at lunch or at the end of the day. It is awesome & easy. Will weigh myself soon.

Snack tip
Make a head will last a week
1 bag frozen shelled edemame
1 ripe avocado peeled and slice
1/4 cup orange juice
4 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar ( I use the white one for this salad)
cumin to taste
---------
you can add
1 cup of any or a combination of
diced red pepper
chopped red onion
sliced red radishes
diced cucumber
serving size 1 cup
Heard you lost 8 lbs. Way to go. Mrs. Humor said the other day that after I have been using the waifit, I lost the rolls on my back. Keep on truckin'.
